I started IntensIFIT a year ago now, and I can honestly say I’m addicted. I do the Group Membership and I’ve just finished the 6 week online coaching programme. Over the past year I’ve got stronger, a lot fitter and slowly leaner. I used to be really insecure about my body and always used to say I’d join IntensiFIT when I was fitter or lost a few pounds and If I could go back I’d sign up straight away! Cost doesn’t come into it, I wasn’t get the results I wanted In a commercial gym and now I see my gym membership as just another necessity, an investment in myself. They are so welcoming at IntensiFIT and there is a real community atmosphere made of all sorts of different people with different goals. Even though getting the body I want takes hard work, the coaches have supported me the whole way!

I started personal training with Kate, which I loved, to give me a kickstart before starting my Group Membership. Now I have been here for over a year and I quite literally have never looked back. I never thought I would be the type of person to get so in to training, and this is coming from someone who used to hide in the toilets at school to avoid PE! I now arrange my week around when I can come to classes, it has become a priority.
IntensiFIT is a proper little family, everyone is so friendly and supportive of each other and the trainers will go above and beyond to help you achieve your goals. I have just finished my 6 week programme with Alana, as hard as it has sometimes been, I have really enjoyed the process and seeing results only makes me want more! I really can’t thank you all enough!

Constantly adapting, evolving and on hand to push you out of your comfort zone
After weighing myself after Christmas I decided 2020 was the year I was going to get in as good a shape as I possibly could. The 6 week challenge was a great way to start me on my fitness journey. I set myself two targets one realistic (to lose 10KG by summer) and one not so realistic (to lose 20KG by summer). The 6 week challenge put me well on target to hit the 20 KG (currently on 10KG) by the end of May. The reason it worked for me was; the accountability, the community and the coaching. I generally knew what to eat and what to avoid but to be given specific macros and the knowledge of how to balance those macros throughout the week allowed me to stay focused in the week and still enjoy the weekends whilst maintaining weight loss. The intensifit team were really good at keeping me informed and feeding back daily what I should and shouldn’t be doing etc. So much so that by the end of the 6 weeks my mind-set had completely changed and those weekend “Treats” became less of a craving. I can’t recommend the challenge enough!
“I have loved my 6 week challenge experience. Mentally and physically I have pushed myself out of my comfort zone and I couldn’t be prouder. For me exercise is really important, it works wonders for my mental health and suffering with PTSD, mental health is really important to me.
Alana has been amazing from start to finish, not only helping me with my daily moans but challenging and pushing me in the gym. Alana will talk me through each exercise and work with me until my form is perfect and that is why I choose to come to IntensiFIT over a commercial gym!
